The Log Cabin Ranch is home to many animals. Children and adults alike enjoy wandering down the driveway to feed our donkey or sheep! and sight some of the animals below:
- Wallabies^ (some re-located from Coranderrk Reserve in Healesville, others bred on site) - 'Eeyore' the Donkey - 'Walter' our Sheep - Peacock, Peahen and Cockatiels in our large aviary - Pheasants, Quail and Love Birds in our small aviary - Echidnas roam freely during the summer months - On a clear day we are sometimes fortunate to sight the local Wedge Tail Eagles (Bunjil) soaring above - Many local birds such as Kookaburras, Blue Wrens, King Parrots, Sulpher-Crested Cockatoos and Black Cockatoos enjoy dropping in on a daily basis - At night you may be very lucky to see a Tawny Frog Mouth (night jar), Possums and Owls
